From a few tiny seeds, great things can grow!
Families with limited food resources often eat the same simple meals in order to fill their stomachs. Often, these meals don't provide healthy nutrients that are especially important for growing children. Concern provides the seeds and training needed for families to grow their own kitchen garden at home. This will provide families with nutritious vegetables such as spinach and tomatoes that can enrich their diet.
Gift in action
Six-year-old David Minani waters the family kitchen garden in Busoni while his family watch on. The family has received support and training on how to build a kitchen garden. David's family received seeds to grow spinach, mustard, tomatoes and onions, so they would always have a good variety of food at hand. Since then, both their garden and family are thriving.
