In Sierra Leone, women are routinely denied access to many basic rights such as education, medical care and land ownership.
With malnutrition levels classified as alarming, it is essential that mothers are educated as to how to improve their diets and that of their families and that they have access to land and gardens in order to grow their way to a more versatile diet. It is vital that there is a support network of women helping and liberating one another to take control of improving their lives. This is what the group; "Let's Hold Ourselves together" does. This gift will pay for 10 more women to join the group who look to a brighter future.
