Beekeeping kit
This gift is creating a real buzz!
A beekeeping kit gives families a unique way to earn an income, even when they have very little land of their own.
Bees produce honey that can be eaten at home or sold at market, while their pollination helps improve local biodiversity and crop production.
It's a small gift that supports both livelihoods and the environment at the same time.
Gift in action
In Kenya, Guyo Abajilo has spent decades helping communities learn the skills needed to keep bees successfully. Through beekeeping, families with limited farming land can produce honey to eat and sell, creating a valuable source of income. Families like those in the Yalatiff women's group are finding that even a few hives can provide new opportunities, helping them support their households and plan for the future.
This gift supports our Livelihoods programme, helping to change lives.
